Ydentifi’s cost doesn’t grow with your users — so neither should your bill.
The whole product, no card, no sales call.
120 users is $240 a month. No sliding scale to negotiate.
Flat. Hire inside the band and the bill doesn’t move.
Flat, again — the per-user rate keeps falling.
The largest published band.
A flat license, independent of user count, priced to your deployment rather than your growth.
Above 50 users every seat is billed — the first fifty are a starting point, not a standing discount. Annual prepay is two months free. Prices exclude VAT, which is added to the invoice where it applies.
We’ll deploy it for you — on your infrastructure, your cloud project or your own metal. We stand it up, hand over the keys, and step back: it stays entirely yours, with no standing access and nothing phoning home. Priced to the complexity of the deployment and quoted before we start, so a straightforward one costs accordingly.
You are not buying features back. What scales is how many people you authenticate — nothing else is counted.
Everything you need to evaluate Ydentifi is public — the full API reference, the exact limits, this price, and a working local deployment in an afternoon. No demo to request, and no sales call to find out whether it fits. See what’s checkable →
$2 per user to 250, flat bands after — so it is exactly this. Move the slider.
At 50 users and under the free tier covers you; above 1,000 the license is flat and independent of user count — talk to us.
Only one thing changes when you pay: how many people you can authenticate. Nothing else.

No. It is not a time-limited trial and not a reduced build — it is the same software with a smaller capacity ceiling. Plenty of deployments never need more than 50 users. (On expiry, see below.)
The tier does not. The license file it runs on is valid for a year — you download a fresh one in seconds with ydfi pull, free and with no card, as often as you need, within an hourly limit. There is no trial clock and no downgrade.
All of them. The free tier covers a deployment up to 50 users; it is not a discount that follows you upward. At 51 users a license is $102/month. We would rather give fifty seats away outright than bill a 56-person company $12 a month — that is less than it costs either of us to process the invoice.
From 251 users the bill is a flat monthly amount per range instead of a per-user meter. Your effective per-user rate falls as you grow — deliberately.
A flat license, independent of user count; talk to us. We are keen on very large deployments, and the license is priced to your deployment, not to your growth.
Passkeys are excellent — for signing in on the device you're using, use them. Ydentifi does a different job: it makes the phone an independent approval instrument for actions happening on other systems — a wire transfer on your backend, a production deployment, a config change — with the exact content of the action cryptographically bound to the approval. Passkeys sign you in; Ydentifi signs what you're about to do.
Either. Buy it as your MFA and run it as shipped — or build on it: it is also a strong-auth component your developers embed in your own software, running inside your own perimeter, under your own controls. For a team that otherwise would have to build from scratch, it is the ready-made backend of the build.
Yes. If self-hosting is the part that puts you off, we offer deployment as a paid service — we stand it up on your infrastructure (your cloud project or your metal), hand over the keys, and it remains fully yours. Ask us.
No. You pay per user, per month, regardless of how often they authenticate. A user who approves forty challenges a day costs the same as one who approves none.
No. Every factor is included at every price — both signed levels, location, number matching and codes. Charging more for stronger security would be a strange thing to do.
Yes. Use your license on your staging and test deployments too. Each deployment counts seats against its own database, so test accounts never use production seats.
There is a 30-day grace period. The deployment keeps serving, with warnings, for 30 days after the license expires; after that it refuses requests until a new license is installed. Once payment is sorted, run ydfi pull, then ydfi license apply. Nothing is fetched over the network, so nothing can silently fail to fetch.
No — and not as a policy, as an architecture. The software runs on your infrastructure and Ydentifi holds no end-user data at all. That does not change by tier.
By opaque user ID on your deployment — one per user you create, whether or not they have enrolled a device, no matter how many devices they hold or how often they authenticate. You never send us names, so we never count them: you count seats, we bill the number.
Yes — monthly or annual, and annual is two months free. The license lasts as long as you have paid for, and your deployment never phones home to check.
Talk to us at business@ydentifi.io. The list price is flat and public; anything beyond it is a conversation, not a hidden tier.
The mechanics — how a license is requested, applied, and renewed — are documented in Get a license.
